Corporate Structure

Marotino operates as a unified team across two jurisdictions. Both entities share leadership, engineering resources, and quality standards, ensuring that every client receives the same level of service regardless of which entity they contract with. Our dual-entity structure allows us to stay close to clients, comply with local regulations, and provide regional support while maintaining a single, cohesive company culture.

Which Entity Serves You

Your contracting entity is determined by your location:

• Marotino CY LTD serves clients in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Middle East, and Africa.
• Marotino INC serves clients in the Americas (North, Central, and South America) and Asia-Pacific (including Australia and New Zealand).

Our website automatically detects your region and presents the appropriate entity information during onboarding and checkout. If you are unsure which entity applies to you, please reach out and we will confirm.

Contractual Framework

All client engagements are governed by a Master Service Agreement (MSA) executed with the applicable Marotino entity. Individual projects are scoped through Statements of Work (SOWs) that reference the MSA. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) are signed by the entity that corresponds to your region.

If your organization operates across multiple regions, we can arrange for both entities to be party to the agreement, or designate a primary contracting entity based on your headquarters location.

Tax and Compliance

Marotino CY LTD is registered for VAT in Cyprus and complies with EU tax directives. VAT is applied to invoices for EU-based clients where applicable, and reverse-charge mechanisms are used for B2B transactions within the EU.

Marotino INC is registered in the State of Florida, United States, and complies with applicable federal and state tax obligations. Both entities maintain appropriate business licenses and registrations required for their respective jurisdictions.

Data Protection

Marotino CY LTD is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and processes personal data in accordance with EU data protection standards. A Data Protection Officer is appointed and can be reached at hello@marotino.com.

Marotino INC is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and applicable US state privacy laws. We honor data subject requests from all US jurisdictions.

A cross-entity Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is in place to ensure consistent data protection standards when personal data is transferred between entities. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are used for international data transfers where required.
